Boulder, Colorado

This was my first residential design. I was employed by Fleetmeyer & Lee in Boulder, Colorado. The project was in front of the Flatirons and the Rocky Mountains. The views from the home are incredible. I was able to access the views as one immediately enters the front door.

The interior truss was first questioned by the structural engineer, but when he ran the numbers, he found that my concept worked well due to the compression of the arch in the truss. The trusses were located in the front entryway all the way to the back, as well as the gable in the master bedroom.
