The Kratzers’ bought a lakeview lot on Sailboat Drive in Holiday Island and tasked Morrison Architecture with creating their lake view home. Sailboats quickly became the inspiration for this design. This was probably the trickiest lot I have had to work with for a residence to-date. Steep with difficult access from Sailboat Drive. It is NOT ADA-accessible. I designed it to allow walk-down access to Table Rock Lake (actually the main body of the lake is downstream and this is on a tributary). The home has a subtle presence from the road but opens up dramatically to the lake and views.
